An immediate expansion
NSW Public Works built the first stage of this project. They invited us to complete the construction of the school due to the overwhelming entrance applications the school had received. In short, it needed to expand immediately. As a result we were engaged to build:
- Three (3) two storey classroom blocks
- Amphitheatre
- Woodwork Rooms
- Staff amenities
- Linkways
- Covered and other walkways
- Canteen
- Carparking

Highlights
Worked in an operational environment
We worked in and around an operating school. The ground conditions were difficult. Seated mostly on hard shale, it was a challenge to achieve satisfactory foundations to sit the building on.
Generally a concrete and masonry construction methodology it was the landscaping that was difficult. There was very little topsoil, with an almost semi-arid environment. Eucalypts were adopted to get the shade needed in the vast grounds.
By the time the expansion was opened the positions available had already been filled.
Just last year we were fortunate to construct the Trade Training Centre at this school as part of our continued association with the Education.
