As the General Manager for Bennett, Tim has overall responsibility for the delivery of all the region’s projects; and managing and maintaining client and stakeholder expectations. He is responsible for regional project reporting and resource allocation for all projects.

Tim is a dynamic, energetic and results driven construction professional with 18 years’ experience in the sector. He is highly accomplished in building high performing project teams, enhancing the capability and capacity of staff and in building productive and mutually beneficial partnerships with clients.

Tim possesses strong industry knowledge allowing him to develop strategic dialogues with clients and other construction professionals. He builds rapport and earns the trust of stakeholders by delivering on the actions that he promises.

Dan has more than 30 years experience in construction and has an impressive portfolio of projects. His strong communication skills and ability to liaise closely with clients and stakeholders ensures he builds and sustains strong professional relationships. He is able to resolve conflicts and manage negotiations in environments where there is often conflicting priorities.

Dan is an exceptional communicator ensuring that his project teams are focused and committed to delivering the priority tasks. He maintains a hands-on management style and spends a lot of time on site to ensure things are done practically and sensibly.

Dan is overall responsible for the delivery of major Bennett projects including responsibility for pre-contract and ongoing client liaison; off site management of projects; implementing and ensuring WH&S, quality and environmental compliance on all projects.

Brett has an impressive portfolio of projects he has been involved with since commencing his Quantity Surveying cadetship in 1990.

He joined Bennett in 2014 and it was immediately evident his meticulous and thorough attention to detail has greatly attributed to his successful career in the construction industry.

Brett has excellent communication and problem solving skills. He is hardworking, conscientious and committed. Brett is very attentive to clients’ needs. He has a cooperative style which allows good interaction between all key stakeholders.

As the Senior Estimator, Bretts responsibility is to accurately understand the project scope and provide a tendered price which is both precise and competitive. With his high level understanding of construction methodologies, he is able to advise key stakeholders where more cost effective methods can be found to maximise project budget outcomes.

When Jacob joined Bennett Constructions in 2017 as a Cadet Estimator, he brought with him extensive experience in design development, commissioning and feasibility studies gained through his previous involvement in the mining industry.

Jacob is responsible for assisting the estimator in the administration of the project. Leading and preparing tenders and cost plans across a wide range of projects types and values.

Nathan joined the construction industry 10 years ago after completing his Engineering Honors.

Since then, Nathan has worked on a vast majority of projects ranging from $1m – $50m across a diverse group of clientele and scopes. Some of which include refurbishments, heritage works, new build ease, commercial builds and fitouts.

Nathan applies his fundamental engineering knowledge to communicate effective construction techniques to co-workers.

John is overall responsible for the overall performance of the project as measured against the Company’s vision and specific characteristics. Including but not limited to overall WHS responsibility for the project, client/stakeholder liaison and site team management.

John has over 20 years experience encompassing a wide range of medium and large-scale projects over a variety of sectors including health, education, residential, industrial, high-rise, infrastructure and correctional with values up to $120m. These projects have been located within CBD and regional areas of New South Wales and Queensland.

John is an experienced and proven Project Manager committed to the detailed planning, resourcing and programming of his projects. He is proficient in all areas of administration including reporting, budgeting, estimating, progress claims, programming, variations and contract letting.

Mick joined the Bennett group in 2001 and became a successful member of the Bennett Constructions team working on many of our major projects. After a two year contract working in the mining industry, we were happy to see Mick re-join us in 2013 as one of our trusted Site Managers.

Mick has been in the building industry since leaving school, at the age of 16, to start his Carpentry apprenticeship. He is a fit, reliable hardworking family man, who believe in the hands-on, lead-by-example approach to supervision and prides himself on being an upstanding, honest individual.

Through commitment and hard work, Mick has a proven track record of building and construction experience that he has been able to consistently exceed all targets and challenges set by his employees.

Neil has over 13 years experience in a diverse range of projects across the commercial, education, health, industrial, retail, heritage, and aged care sectors. As a Project Manager, he has been responsible for the overall performance of projects, including programming, WHS, client liaison and site team management.

Neil has successfully delivered projects for a variety of clients across Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra and Regional NSW. He understands his clients objectives and brings an enthusiastic and a hands on approach to ensure his team achieves them. He sets a high standard expectation for his team and for subcontractors to ensure safety, program and quality outcomes are met.

Matt has a successful background in managing Tier 1 and 2 contracts, complex renovations, commercial office renovations and managing maintenance of large projects in both the residential and commercial environment. He has a superior ability to plan, manage and deliver several projects simultaneously.

Matt has extensive experience dealing with and planning a wide variety of trades associated to projects. He has a strong background in estimation, cost management, project planning and project delivery. He has excellent communication skills and builders strong relationships with clients and other key stakeholders.

Jeremy is a dedicated individual with over 12 years’ experience in the building industry across various roles attaining a high level of technical building knowledge. Jeremy having been a member of the local community for over 5 years now has built a great working relationship with Clients, subcontractors and Consultants within the region. He was recently involved in our project at Tweed Heads Hospital and passionate about GC21 contracts and procurement process.

Jeremy has completed a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and Economics through which a strong understanding of project management was attained to compliment his extensive practical experience.

Jeremy has developed time and personnel management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Sharon has been employed in the Construction Industry for 26 years, she started her career in construction at United KG P/L where she worked as the Accounts Payable Clerk, Secretary and Project Administrator before continuing her career in construction as Contracts Administrator on multiple projects. While working in the construction industry Sharon has gained valuable experience and understanding of the many aspects of construction.

Jonathan is highly accomplished at working with project managers to administer, manage and plan projects, including contract administration, project programming and planning, client liaison, and coordination of on-site activities.

He is highly co-operative and communicates effectively with the project team. He is a highly motivated and hardworking team member who ensures team goals are achieved to deadlines.

In his role as Project Engineer at Ballina High School he was heavily involved in the delivery of a new style of project for the Department of Education NSW.

Jonathan was the team leader at Maranoa Village Stage 2 and led from the ECI phase through to handover of the 15 ILUs to Baptistcare and developed strong relationships with the client and local community stakeholders.

Jai has gained particular experience over the last four years and during his apprenticeship in structural construction.

Throughout Jai’s apprenticeship he has been involved in the development of a number of notable projects in both Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Brad joined the team at Bennett Constructions with 22 years experience working within the construction industry. He is a reliable, quality driven individual with a hands on approach to every project.

Brad has a strong knowledge of construction and latest techniques, not only having a great understanding of the onsite works but also has a great understanding of the office side of the construction industry.

Russell has been in the Construction industry for 28 years and has worked on a vast majority of projects. Russell provides strong communication skills with a strong safety focus and understanding of current WHSE legislative requirements.

Russell brings to the table practical thinking and technically competent. As well as experience across a broad range of construction methods and building types.

Shannon has been involved in the construction industry for over 20 years during which time he has developed extension knowledge and gained experience across all areas of construction methodologies and construction management.

With outstanding leadership qualities, and proven design review capabilities Shannon will deliver this project and achieve our company and project objectives.

Clint has over 14 years’ experience in the construction industry and has built a reputation in the far-north coast construction community for reliability and attention to detail. He has knowledge and experience in all aspects of construction and adds great value to his projects. He is always keen to give more and has a real interest in design and construct projects.

He has strong organisation skills and a real understanding of local subcontractors, client staff and expectations of ensuring his site activities are well planned, organized and care for the local community is front of his mind.

Clint has a ‘can-do’ attitude. His positive, energetic and composed approach towards on-site personnel develops strong and resilient teams. His strong interpersonal skills build trusting relationships with all stakeholders and gain the confidence of the site team and of the subcontractors.

Brett is a highly skilled Carpenter with transferable skills that have assisted him in becoming a valuable member of any construction site.

He holds high work ethics, is very trustworthy and has high levels of interperonsal skills. Brett takes price in helping fellow colleagues work through challenging situations.

His dedications and hard work see Brett empowering a building site to ensure all projects and tasks meet the requirements of architects and client.

Paul joined the Bennett Group almost 40+ years ago and in that time he has become an integral member of the construction team.

Paul is an experienced Site Supervisor who has a diverse range of building and technical skills allowing him to personally complete many tasks which arise on projects. He develops excellent working relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

Having the ability to develop strong rapport with clients, he is repeatedly requested by clients to supervise their projects.

Alan began his career in construction as an apprentice with Bennett Constructions. He has been involved in the construction industry for 45 years during which time he has developed extensive knowledge and gained experience across all areas of construction methodologies and construction management.

Alan is commitment to safety and quality as well as his ability to liaise with all stakeholders is an asset to all projects on which he works. His ability to gain the confidence of the site team and subcontractors enables Alan to motivate his teams to meet and exceed his clients expectations for time and quality on site.

Ashleigh joined the Bennett team in 2017 under a Business Administration Traineeship. In 2021, Ashleigh completed her studying in Marketing and Communications where she then joined the Comms team.

Ashleigh has developed strong internal and external stakeholder relationship skills with clients, executive, staff, suppliers, clients and subcontractors. She will liaise with aboriginal businesses to ensure that the project delivers its APIC commitments. She will also liaise with the Aboriginal and wider communities to identify candidates for traineeships and apprenticeships opportunities.

Steve joined the Bennett team in 2018 and has worked on a variety of projects throughout the Northern Rivers.

Prior to joining the Bennett team, Steve worked on the Lismore Regional Art Gallery project as a Labourer at Spinifex.

Rodney is an experienced site safety officer having helped manage an exemplary safety record on projects, many of them in high-risk, live environments. He is proactive and tackles workplace safety issues with practical and effective solutions.

Rodney has been an advocate for safety since commencing work in the construction industry. He has a thorough understanding of WHS legislation and the ability to apply this knowledge on site. He has strong problem-solving skills and his record-keeping and administration are strong. He has the ability to make quick decisions and to stand his ground on them.

Jacinta joins the Bennett team with 4 years experience in the Construction Industry. She is a Cert IV qualified Project Administrator who has worked on a major hospital project for her two year traineeship with John Holland.

Jacinta is keep to continue to develop her contract administration skills. Her attention to detail and process driven work habits benefits communication and quality management.
