Bennett has the experience, resources and technical capabilities to deliver the full range of construction projects across a range of sectors, including aged care, health, education, industry, retail and finance. We work on small minor works projects such as shop refits to multi-stage commercial developments.
The cooperative contracting culture that Bennett follows is the perfect prerequisite for early contractor involvement (ECI). We are experienced in ECI during the design and development stage which removes the adversarial relationship between clients and contractors. It ensures that our objectives align and reduces commercial risk. It allows us to leverage each other’s resources and capabilities to boost strategic performance.
Commissioning plans are produced early in projects and coordinated with service trades. Commissioning is a fully-integrated, quality-oriented process. It verifies and documents all facets of the construction inspection and test plan (ITP) process, and operational performance of all the services facilities, systems and equipment.
Bennett has a strong in-house design management team and maintains a network of external specialist consultants to provide a comprehensive design and construct service. In this way we can provide a broad range of specialist project design outcomes.
Bennett actively identifies, monitors, and closes-out defects through the whole construction phase of projects to achieve defect-free completion. These processes are undertaken using a digital platform which helps to record and communicate the defects to the project team.
Our dedicated minor works team of Mick Furchtman (Project Manager) and Sharon Allen (Contracts Admin) is in place to construct commercial projects under $1m such as fit-outs, refurbishments and renovations.

It contains all the systems and processes required to satisfy our clients’ requirements; and our policies and procedures for delivering our projects defect and claims-free, on time, and without incidents.
